Last weekend I posted about our Saturday activity - the crawfish boil. I was too exhausted to post about our impromptu Sunday activity - Miles first Braves Game! Shane's house is about an hour away so when we go out there for an evening we often stay the night. Upon waking on Sunday it was decided to check out a Braves game. It was a 1:30 game so we went to work right away on preparing to do it up right for Mr. Miles. After several stops Matt, Miles, and myself were all decked out in brand new Braves gear, the cooler was stocked in the back of the car, and Miles was slathered up in sunblock. Off we went!
After a short little tailgating session we were ready to head into the game!
We started off checking out our seats...which were VERY high!!! MUCH to high for mommy. Miles didn't like it much up there either. No room to play!
We decided to find somewhere that offered us a little more room, a little less height, and some food!
After lunch we took a stroll around Turner Field.
OK. I am reaching here. There just isn't a lot to say about this day. Matt and I had looked forward to Miles first Braves game since the day we found out we were having a boy. I hate to admit it, but baseball games are not a great place to take a little one. I should have seen it coming. There was nothing to do with him! We couldn't sit in the seats because he wanted to get down. I'm not a fan of sitting in the restaurants to eat because I can catch a game at the local Taco Mac and pay half the price for food and beer if I wanted to watch the game on TV. Walking around is fun...but only for so long. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted, but it didn't last long. I'm pretty sure we didn't make it half way through the game which is fine. We made some fun memories and before we left Miles was issued his "My First Visit to Braves Country" certificate. This was my favorite part of the day.
