Well, things continue to stay very busy. Each weekend has been packed full of family trips/activities and there is much more to come! We will have to keep snapping away if we want to remember everything once January rolls around.
Everyone knows what a sports fanatic Matt is. He just loves the games, the camaraderie, all of it and he is so eager to share this love with his son. That being said, Miles still isn't quite the right age to enjoy a game with his ole' pop. It might sound crazy but on this particular weekend we find a compromise that seemed to suit us all. We dressed in our best Tech gear and went down to the stadium, saw the Ramblin Wreck, saw Buzz, and then drove to Alpharetta to visit with Grammie and Grampie in Alpharetta to watch the game. Go Tech!
Thanksgiving Weekend in Tampa!!!!
This year for Thanksgiving Matt, Miles, James and I all road tripped it down to Tampa to see Miles' Nana and Papa Bill.It was everything a great Thanksgiving weekend should be. Lots of food, family, fun, and relaxing.
Figuring out how to use Daddy's Black Friday Score - a tablet!
Miles showing Nana how to make a big splash. Watch out Nana!
The Boyd boys all know how to sew! How crazy is that?!?! Good thing, because I can't sew a single stitch.
Exploring a local orange grove.
Nana and Papa Bill bought Miles his first Biker Vest to match Papa Bills and Uncle James. We hunted for patches all weekend and Papa Bill sewed them on.
Matt has a thing for stadiums and insisted that we stop to see Florida's stadium. This little tradition undoubtedly irks me when we are on an 8 - 10 hour trip home but I have to admit that afterwards I find it a pretty neat little hobby.
I wish I could have captured the look on Matt's face when he saw that he could go on the field. Talk about a "kid in a candy store"!
Touchdown!!
